Trent took all that time off and them busted out beautifully, working with Saul, going instrumental, and, I think, creating his best work yet--Right Where it Belongs, for example.

Oh, the show was great. They had a part in the latter half where they did a section of the Ghosts material - Trent was playing a Marimba, the bassist was playing an upright and Robin Finck had a mandolin - at the end they did a really tripped out jazz-ish version of "Piggy" that lent this arch sort of irony to the whole thing without losing the swing and then rock of it at the end.

He's definitely coming into things as an artist.
