Old tube station - Aldwych

So missy_manic geeked out when she managed to get tickets for us both to visit Aldwych underground station. This station is closed to the public but is kept for training staff and for requests for filming locations that resemble the London Underground. Just looking at the place, I think I have to back you up. Margot said in an interview that it WAS shot in England and the pic of the phone booth cemented it. I'd be really surprised if that wasn't it.

I think it is too. The "metro" is so obviously a London Underground station to me in Superman IV that its painful watching ;)

That does look like it might have been in Superman IV and also sounds like an interesting tour.

Aww, man, I wished I'd been moved into London enough to be able to go to some Open House things, but it was only my second weekend in the city!

This is pretty fantastic and I would've loved to have gone on this tour. Mind if I repost? I have a few friends who are into WWII history and such who might like to see this.
