Finally something fairly interesting to post! A few weeks back it was Open House weekend (where usually shut buildings/spaces are open to the public for tours/viewing). Did not manage to get tickets to go to the BT Tower (poo!) but did go to a North London event. Gaumont Palace, now the Dominion Church in Wood Green. And wow! it is big!

Ohh so pretty! That's a church now? It's like I can still envision people dressed in 1920s clothes going to see a vaudeville show there, the way it's so gorgeously designed.

Yes its now used as a church. There were some members practicing their singing under the arches whilst I was taking the photos :)
