Model Village - Part 1 - Big Cop, Small Town
Photos taken last week at Bekonscot Model Village, Beaconsfield.
This is *not* a Hot Fuzz filming location but the pub we went to in the same town later that day is. (see next journal post) but this trip was inspired by the inclusion of an action fight scene in the movie that takes place in a model village so cue lots of references to the movie in the photos below. That and the comedy sketch show Big Train which I've tried to explain with clips where I can find - just because its an excuse to do so :P

^ she drove her Datsun Cherry over Sanford Gorge...
^ The boxing ring in the fair ground looks exactly like the set up used in The Krays (1990) movie.
^ Nicholas, we've got you a smashing little cottage in a place that's won village of the year I don't know how many times...
^ All proceeds go the churf roof in dire need of repair ;)
...travellers, crusty jugglers, gypsy scum
