Bulletin Announcement/Open Franziska Settles RP

Jun 27, 2008 12:09

Franziska, upon being sorted to Toon Town, went there to look around, but found it unacceptably foolish as anticipated. There would certainly be no question of her staying there, but she wasn't finding anything approaching suitable lodgings.

A bit frustrated but not ready to give up, she posted an announcement to the bulletin board.

On seeing this missive, Cayce started laughing so hard that after a moment, she ended up sitting on the ground, knees pulled up to her chest, shoulders shaking.

She hadn't met Franziska, of course, but the prospect of anyone trying to boot Crowley from Club 33 (and there was no question that the club was the best accomodations the park had to offer) and with such highfalutin insistence and entitlement was about the funniest thing she'd seen in the history of ever.

Franziska was sitting at a table not too far away from the notice board, so that she would be on hand in case anyone attempted to write anything foolish. When she saw the foolish woman laughing, she stood and approached.

"Is something amusing?"

Huh. New voice. Better try to pull yourself together, Cayce.

She looked up and wiped her eyes, still snickering, and jerked her thumb at the notice board. "It's, um ... kind of hard to explain." At least it was to someone who was clearly new here. Cayce struggled to her feet, hilarity mostly under control now. "Sorry, I don't think we've met. I'm Cayce Pollard."

"I wouldn't blame the subject matter for your own lack of communication skills," Franziska said. She wasn't actually trying to cause trouble, nor did she have anything against Cayce. It just seemed like a valid point to make. "Fortunately, it's unlikely I would be interested anyway. Franziska von Karma."

You honestly think someone's gonna tell you where the best place is if they live there?

Yes.

Oh. Well, that's a convincing argument. I guess I'll tell you.

I've included a map of the park, and the best location is circled on it. Hope this helps.

- Katou

On the map, there's a big, black circle around "Minnie's House."

The location was in Toon Town, so Franziska doubted it would be at all acceptable. However, it was possible (though extremely unlikely) she had overlooked something, so she went to the location on the map.

It was about twenty minutes later when she finally replied.

Fool,

While your foolhardy attempts at hospitality might be endearing if they weren't so pathetic, I must inform you that your foolishly pink fool's house for fools could only be found acceptable by a fool more foolish than a house foolishly made out of plastic.

I would suggest you attempt to make up for the oversight by finding me better lodgings, but I would rather not subject myself to further incompetence.

Your pathetic attempts at humor are unneeded at this time. Do not reply to this post again.

Franziska would be waiting to ensure this was the case.

Bernard did not like being told what to do, even by crazy bitches with a whip, so walked up, made a rather over dramatic point of reading the whole notice, then scribbled on the end, I've got a sense of humour. I died laughing at your original post.

Then he prepared himself to run like the wind.

Franziska didn't wait to see if this was the right person this time as she had with Katou, because she recognized Bernard Black and knew he deserved to be whipped even if he hadn't made the remark. She stepped from her waiting place and commenced with the whippery.

When Setsuna saw this, he couldn't keep his stupid mouth shut. What was this person THINKING?

Karma, or whatever the hell your name is,

You're a fucking moron. Get your own damn place by looking, like EVERYONE ELSE did.

Setsuna,

As my name is written twice, I would have assumed you'd be capable of comprehending it. However, as you are clearly a fool, I will repeat that it is Franziska von Karma or Prosecutor von Karma as you should call me.

As to the remainder of your message, unless you have anything constructive to add, I will be disregarding it. Please take your crude language and foolish capitalizations elsewhere.

Dumbass,

Wow, you're a moron. Crude language or not, my point remains, no one's gonna do what you want. Get over yourself.

Fool,

As I explained, I am not interested in your foolish babbling. Please don't reply again.

- Franziska von Karma

As before, Franziska would be waiting near the post to make sure Setsuna didn't dare reply.

Aziraphale came wandering by to catch up on the postings, and his eyebrows almost disappeared into his wavy bangs when he discovered this artful display of imbecilic narcissism. "Well. How very rude," he mused, contemplating a suitable rejoinder. Though the exchanges tacked on below made him wonder if it would be worth his time.

((Fair warning: if she tries the whip on him, she's gonna lose it.))

Franziska was sitting near the board, getting nearly tired of whipping fools when she was looking for serious respondents.

"I do hope you won't be contributing any 'amusing' remarks," she said. "If so, I'm uninterested."

((Haha, thanks. If she gets it into her head to whip him, feel free to bring on the angel godmoddage. Fortunately, she probably won't do it.))

"Oh, not in the slightest," the angel said calmly. "I must say, however, I find the preponderance of condescension in your missive to be thoroughly unimpressive, young lady. A more satisfactory outcome might be obtained if one were to assay a less derogatory approach to the matter at hand."

He had a feeling the young woman would not be moved by anything as straightforward as Try being less insulting.

"Do you really?" Franziska replied. "Generally, I've found that the soft approach seldom succeeds when one is dealing with fools. I am pleased to see that thus far, you are not behaving as foolishly as many. However, in the future I would rather not be addressed as 'young lady.'"

There's not actually malice here; this is just the way she carries on a normal conversation with someone who isn't yet behaving foolishly.
