Duzell was faintly annoyed that Sharlen had answered the same to the coolest question as he himself had, which increased his irritation at all that Sharlen was here. He had been alone for at least half a year. Ishtar had recently arrived, and that had made him quite happy, but Sharlen arriving cancelled out Ishtar's arrival, and then some.

"Sharlen," he said. "At least one of your wishes has been granted, I'm sorry to say."

The person, he least expected to see, at the moment. The vampire seemed a bit... none too happy, but at the same time, there were slight rings in his mind that he had something to look foreward to, in this odd place, as it seemed. Amaranth hues glance flatly at the used to be Vampire King.

"You're one, I least expected to see... here, Duzell," the vampire mused monotne.

Duzell gave a small, cynical smile. "I had not expected to see you here, either," he said. "Though, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. It seems to be a sort of half-afterlife, after all."

"Half after-life?" inquired the vampire almost silently however, obviously to himself. Though, he ddin't seem to be very amused at the moment, so to say. Glacial violet hues of the vampire marquis was closed for a moment, before the creature spoke up once more.

"Then, I suppose more shall be expected," he added with slim smirk slowly carving its way up on his face.

She couldn't say Sharlen had ever made any impression on her - Lassen had, though, due to circumstance and timing more than anything. Being that Ishtar had yet to be placed, Sharlen's words easily grasped her fickle attention, starting with him being a vampire.

Of course, in any interest in him due to that died once Sharlen mentioned his quest - that did spark some memories - and her eyes narrowed. Ishtar would have confidently told him it was impossible, but then the wishes were brought up and she was infuriated.

"Duzie's already dead, and I'm not gonna let anyone torment him while he's here resting in peace. You better just get that notion out of your head."

"My, my, such bold words for a Princess, Princess Ishtar," the vampire mused towards the girl. Though, he didn't seem to be fazed by the words. They were coming from the girl that was hardly his rival. She had nothing, and her abilities were short as well. He didn't suppose she could cast any decent magic either. Nonetheless, either way, Sharlen had not taken her words too seriously, only a mere child's threat towards him, of course.

"What will you do... if I say now, Princess?" the male retorted with an inquisition of his own, through dark amaranth hues taht slowly fixed towards the raven haired girl.

She first looked around to see if anyone had heard that princess bit, but Ishtar didn't see anyone else. Gritting her teeth she thought about what she could do - no sword, no Darres, no.... Well, she had ruelles, but thinking it over, Ishtar didn't remember what they did, or if it was anything useful at the moment.

That didn't stop her from hissing out, "Hey! Don't call me princess Ishtar right now. I'm Ishta to these guys." Not that she had met but two people.... And yes, that was her main concern at the moment. As for what to do with the guy.

"And say what now? I don't get your question." Maybe she was still under the influence of alcohol, slightly.

"Yes, pretending to me someone else again, aren't we...?" he mused faintly at the princess, when she hissed out to call her by Ishta instead of Princess Ishtar. Of course, it was somewhat to be expected in a sense, but it didn't really stop Sharlen from continuing to speak to her, as if he didn't really care.

"Well, then Ishta" the vampire marquis, mused in a flat tone, "I merely said about Duzell, what will you do, if I simply said no?" he mused with slight almost invisible smirk on his pale face.

Oh great, another vampire, and this one didn't sound as congenial as Duzell. Just what Setsuna needed - something to worry about. Sticking his nose into business that wasn't completely his - but hey, Duzell WAS his friend, Setsuna rushed onto the scene and immediately called out, "Hey, you, Vampire thingy -" the word Marquis was a little beyond him just yet, "- you're not doing a damn thing to Duzell, for a starter. Next, you can't randomly feed on people here. You need to get their permission, understood?"

Another one of those human allies of Princess Ishtar perhaps? The vampire thought to himself as he saw the figure roam towards his being. Though, the human brat, to the vampire's eyes of course, was simply a child's threat. It didn't mean much to Sharlen, though he didn't exactly seemed surprised that Duzell had made a few more 'friends' in this place. HE was the bad guy after all, seeing that the Princess, and the former Vampire King were impulsed to see him.

Thought, when he spoke of Duzell, simply, Sharlen understood, that this boy was one of the many friends of the vampire king, who obviously didn't deserve the title "Vampire" King anymore. Nonetheless, Sharlen responded to the boy, without acknowledging the human that suddenly appeared before him. Now, if Duzell, and the Princess Ishtar had not come to him, then he wouldn't know of their existence, but now, it seemed to be too late for that.

"What will you do about it?" he retorted, "I've had many fingers pointed at me, threat said, but you'll have to prove it to me human... ( ... )

Setsuna didn't even know Ishtar, and he didn't care to meet her at the moment either. His main concern was Duzell, and the people of the park.

He didn't shrink back, but got closer, aiming to point a finger in Sharlen's face as Setsuna promised, "I'll kick your ass. One way or another, I'll beat the crap out of you. You're getting an offer, and you're getting it once. I'll let you feed off of me if it'll keep you from going after innocent victims, or you can ask them nicely. But by Hell you aren't going to attack anyone."

Granted, if he did, there wasn't much Setsuna could do about it, not that he wanted to admit or face that. The boy's stubborn mind insisted he could and would find a way.

Oddly enough, the human reminded him of Ishtar. The lack of maturity here, wasn't hidden to well for a fact. That was perhaps something that he noticed out of his usual perspective. Sharlen stared blankly at the human, seemingly unfazed by his pointed finger. Attacking, was hardly the of use for Sharlen. He didn't have to 'force' them to do anything, he simply could do it all himself. It was a simple use of words, and conning that would slowly get him victims, without much of a fight. He wasn't a mindless creature, and surely he had plenty of ways to get to his victims. Breaking them, would be a better use ( ... )

"Okay, Sharlen. You ready to find out which of our excitin' lands you'll be livin' in?"

The Vampire stared back at the creature, as the others long dispersed, perhaps for the vampire king that was still watching him, but he didn't really need to wait any longer. What kind of strange events will be held here, he didn't know, know, but exploring it might have been quite wonderful... in a sarcastic way of course.

"I suppose so," he replied, bluntly.

He didn't even know what that place was, but nonetheless, wherever it was, it didn't seem too bad. The name was quite foreign to him, and he had yet a lot to learn about this new world. He didn't argue or said now, merely replied in a calm manner.

"Do, what you wish," he mused softly, as he kept his composure. He didn't recall or know any place here anyhow, perhaps that could be a starting point for him, and then... maybe it wouldn't but he didn't want to do anything just yet.
