ooc:// I should have posted this sooner... Ah... there are spoilers during this application, if you haven't gotten to that point, or don't want to please don't continue. XD There's spoilers all over really <<;;
Yes, indeed before him, there stood a mouse, and near him a cat, that he caught at the corner of his eyes. Honestly, though, he wasn't even sure why he was here, of the reason for it however. The Vampire Marquis thought he had died, thanks to that damned king. It wasn't a pleasant experience being plunged in the guy with Sidia after all. Though, then again, this might be a new definition of hell. A slight blink form his amaranth hues, the vampire looked at the creatures, almost curiously, through his stoic appearance.
Mickey coughs theatrically. "'What is your name?'"
The Male appearing vampire, gave the talking creature a rather blank stare from his face, and words that were unsaid, thought in his mind, as he was curious to find out how a mouse was able to talk to him... Nonetheless, the Vampire Marquis gave one last dull glance towards the creature, before replying in a monotone response, filled with oh-so-happy emotions. Note his sarcasm though.
"Sharlen," he mused, "I am the Vampire Marquis, Sharlen," he finished, his violet orbs staring about, awaiting what else that would be asked to him. Though, the man hardly found this place anymore appealing when it was when he first glanced at it.
"What is your quest?" asks the Cat. It's perched, suddenly, on the roof of one of the gate-stiles.
His quest? He was obliged to answer that, however, seeing it was none of the cat's concern, what his quest was, though the vampire slightly thought in his mind, that if he didn't answer, there would be no continuation to the end, and he would probably stand her staring, and bored, perhaps. Though, as much as he was against replying to it, the vampire mused once more in a monotone voice, at the cat that was perched on the gate-stiles. How it came to, Sharlen didn't question, seeing this was all bizarre enough already, though of course the vampire wouldn't admit at all.
"My Quest, is to bring the house of Phelios to their doom," he mused. Yes, it was always, and forevermore his desired and wanted quest. Destroy, but it seemed kind of pathetic now, seeing he wasn't even sure if he was alive or dead at the moment.
"'What is the average w..?'" Mickey frowns down at the notebook. "You know, I don't really see why that's important." He flips a page. "'If you could be granted three wishes, what would they be?'"
Wishes, hmm, if life were wishes, he would surely have three most important ones of course. Though, they were usually his own concern and Sharlen didn't liked to talk about them either. Though, as much as this seemed more absurd at the moment, he wasn't sure which creature was more odd, the talking cat that appeared out of nowhere, or the mouse with the notebook that questioned him continuously.
"Mother, returning to me alive, the fall of The House of Phelios, and the death of the Vampire King, Duzell," he replied solemnly.
The house of Phelios, and Phelios used his mother. He wouldn't allow that, as well as the reason, the Vampire King whom, his mother angrily wanted to gain revenge against, leaving him alone. He wouldn't allow it. Mother, became that fool Saint's tool, and he still had dreadful thoughts about it. The dream haunted him.
"Or," the Cat says, examining its tail with interest, "if you were a genie and someone you were trying to give three wishes to was trying to trick you into giving him more, what would you say?"
A genie? Sharlen, wasn't even sure what the hell that was. Though, wish granting, however, seemed to be something he had done, well with a motive behind it of course. It wasn't like the things he did were simply for free, and without charge. He only granted such wishes for those he found usable, or worthwhile for him to be stepping on to the next pillar of his plot. Though, no human, had ever been able to "trick" him into giving them more than they asked for, however, it was a hypothetical question in its own way.
"I simple won't grant any of his foolish wishes then," the male replied to the question. The absurdity of him speaking to both a cat and a mouse, who were rather odd colours themselves, were starting to get a little to him. This definitely was no afterlife of his. Only a fool would believe that this place was the afterlife. Sharlen was hardly fooled. Though, it would remind him of a sort of nut house... if he ever saw on that is.
Mickey looks rather nonplused at the next, but reads, "'When the revolution comes, what skills will you be able to barter for food?'"
"Is there is a skill in drinking blood?" the male inquired slightly, though seeing it was another one of those questions, he would have to answer them as well. Though that was just his thought however. Were there such things as skills of drinking blood? It was simply saying, there were nicer ways to drink one's blood, or be gentle with them. It would never really add up.
"I am a vampire... I would hunt, or trick someone to my grasp, it isn't hard," the male replied. Again, Sharlen questioned his sanity at the brief moment, though it didn't seem to be anymore psychotic than it already was. He'd at least hope it was close to the end. He didn't really have much patience for the remaining of his time. Though, either way, he still was obliged to answer them, and then answering them. It seemed to be the fastest way up, or in on this matter.
The Cat rolls its eyes in a friendly (and rather disconcertingly out-of-sync) way, and asks, "Milk, dark, or white chocolate?"
Chocolate. He had no such luxury of eating human food as that question popped up. Though, it could be a code of sorts. Who knew? Yes, these questions were starting to become irritating. Sharlen really didn't want to answer anymore than he did, but then he kept his stoic look towards the mouse, and glancing at the cat through the corner of his eyes. A breath of hollow air was breathed, and the vampire answered again.
"Dark Chocolate," he mused, with a faint blink of his violet hues.
"'Choose the two coolest: robots, pirates, fairies, bears, ninjas, monkeys, vampires, or humans,'" says Mickey, giggling a bit as he goes through the list. "'Explain.'"
Coolest? Now, these questions were really ridiculous now. Once more, he had no choice much but to respond to them. Either he responded, or something quite out of his hand would happen without him knowing very much. Violet hues, slightly narrowed at the mouse, as he responded again, with a much of a hint of annoyance in his voice, as well as it was clear through his expression almost... the absurdity of this.
"Vampires, and humans," he mused. Sharlen didn't like monkeys. He didn't know what pirates, or faeries were either. Ninjas, he never head of that word in his century of life, and as for bears, he didn't exactly find animals appealing either. He only picked what he knew, and nothing more. Though, the words "Explain" ringed in his pointy ears, as the vampire added onto his answers, his explanations to why.
"Vampires are superior beings to many, seeing we don't age normally, and capable of doing much more than your run-in-the-mill creatures. Humans... intriguing creatures. They wish to save many, though they know not how to save themselves. They protect what is important to them, even if it means risking their lives," the male finished his response. It was short bleak, and right to the point. No need to coat it with sugary goodness now did it?
"Great!" Mickey flips through the blank pages of the notebook at top, cartoon-y speed. "Well, I think that's just about it! Oh, and I'm supposed to ask, 'for your safety: are you carrying anything sharp?'"
"Not particularly," he replied. He possessed nothing sharp. He had no weapons. All he had was the magic on his body, and the movement of wind. The vampire didn't carry weapons, since he didn't need it, or rather when he had supposed he died, he didn't have any, minus the sword that was plunged in his gut, thanks to the damned King of Rezenia, but nonetheless, Sharlen had nothing to hide.
