Many letters

It had been a while since Rukia had seen Ichigo. Or many of her other friends-and-or-acquaintaces, as well. So she sent out a few letters, hoping to get a response. There was something awful niggling at the back of her mind, but she really didn't want to think about it until it was confirmed

Hey there; it's good to hear from you. I'm fine. I'm afraid I haven't seen any boys matching your description, though. What's his name? How long has he been missing have you been looking?

His name is Ichigo Kurosaki. And I've been looking for about...two or three days now, I think, although it'd been a few days since I saw him last before I started looking. At first I thought he was just avoiding me, but now I think there's something really wrong. Do you really think he's missing?

I recognize his name from the list, but I don't think I've ever met him. I -- I don't know what I think. I'll ask around and keep an eye open, though. Let me know if you hear anything.

Rukia was slightly taken aback by Pippi's letter, at first, but then smiled to herself and set about answering it. She was charmed by it, actually; it was nice to get something so sweet and funny when she was so worried.

Pippi,

Good! I'm glad to hear that you are doing well! I'm worried about someone, actually, if that's what you're asking. And no, I'm no longer a pirate.

She gets the impression that Pippi, being a young child, doesn't write or read well. So she tries not to overdo the big words and complex sentences.

Hi Rukia! (Pikachu says hi too) Thanks for the letter! Its the first one we got. Me and Pikachu are doing great! Yesterday we went on the Indiana Jones ride fifteen times and then ate a whole pizza. It was awesome!! Then I tried to teach Pikachu Zap Cannon but we didn't get very far. It's hard to train with no other Pokemon around :( We didn't see any angry red-haired boys either, but we'll look out! What's he angry about? He isn't part of Team Rocket is he? I guess if you don't have Pokemon maybe you don't have Team Rocket though. Well if you need help looking for him me and Pikachu are definitely on the case! We're really great detectives we even trained with Officer Jenny and her growlithes once! :D And we blasted off Team Rocket loads of times.

I'm very glad to hear that you and Pikachu are doing well. I'm sorry your Zap Cannon didn't go very far. Maybe next time, it'll go the way you'd like? And I don't know what Team Rocket is, but no, he's not a member. He's not really angry about anything in particular; he's just generally grumpy. What is a growlithe?

I'm sure it'll work next time! Me and Pikachu will keep trying until we get it to work, because we're gonna be the best! Oh, I keep forgetting you don't have Pokemon! A growlithe is a puppy Pokemon! It's a fire type and a lot of Officer Jenny's have them! They're really smart, but not as smart as Pikachu!

Team Rocket are bad guys who like to steal Pokemon, so I wanted to make sure they weren't around. Oh and I only asked about the handsome thing cause there's another guy looking for him I think, and he said he was really handsome! Just some detective work!

Well we'll keep looking!
