My yearly birthday introspective.

Hey all. Yeah, still alive and well. Last year in October, lots of RL fam drama happened again and I just couldn't handle being online anymore. Didn't go completely radio silent as some of you know, since this time I didn't abandon twitter. I just couldn't handle anything fandom, not even ST (though still had to maintain the comm behind the scenes

Actually... For the first time ever, I didn't.. ^^ I thought my grandmother was making one, as I thought I smelled it baking but she didn't have all the ingredients. So when mom called to ask if she should buy a cake I said no. Didn't realize that till after dinner. That's okay I guess, least I got stroganoff for dinner (apparently I'm the only one that likes it haha.)

I miss fandom, too. I'm sitting on the outside of all my favourite fandoms right now, and I can't seem to get in the door again. Can't seem to write, either, though I'm trying like hell.

Re: not a big deal and yet a big deal? Also re: relationship with a guy and other things with a girl? I know exactly, and I do mean exactly, what you mean.

Glad that the people you've told so far are happy for you. That's an awesome, awesome thing, and unfortunately in this world not always a given.

Be happy, sweetheart. Your choice is fine and it can be as big a deal as you want it to be. And don't stress yourself so much about finding that special someone. Just get out there and enjoy each moment as it comes; you'll find that people will love you for who you are when you do. You're special in lots of ways you forget about; sweet, kind, talented and pretty (stop me if you've heard this before lol) and thoughtful. Don't let this moment get you down, okay?
