I just added buttons to my LJ layout and my profile to promote Browse Happy and Firefox, and in order to remove the borders on the images in my profile? I had to go back to the evilness of outdated code, and instead of a style="border: 0px;" in the img tag, I had to add a border="none" because LJ stripped out the style tag! Fuck! I want a corset. I'm not entirely sure why... mostly because I think they're pretty, and I like the way they look. Well, when one just tightens them a little, it looks so weird when they get tightened a lot over a long period of time and the person wearing it ends up with a super tiny waist.

We now have the summary feature on Component. I love it. It lets me see what entries are on the page at a glance, and check the titles and who posted. If I started adding subjects to all my entries, I could even find stuff in my own journal quicker. Coolness, I now have a fully fuctional search box on my LJ. And the results page matches the rest of the layout. Weeee. Freefind reindexes my LJ aprox. every thursday, so you may notice that my most recent entries won't come up sometimes, but they should all be on the most recent page, or two, so that should be no big deal.

Wooohoo! I got my login component on my journal page! I found an if then statement that puts one thing if one is logged in, and puts another if one isn't logged in. So now, if you're logged in, you see my oral sex and weapons of mass destruction component, but if you're not logged in, you see the login component. I'm a dork. I added a component to allow me to log into LJ from my journal page. That means that I don't have to go to livejournal.com, put in my user info, then type diziara.livejournal.com into the address bar when I'm killing time on the net at work. So, has anyone else noticed that syndication feeds are displaying with a little dish next to them now? And it seems to be automatic. Cute :)

Oh yeah, in case anyone actually looks at my journal pages, I changed back to component because the boxer style, while cute, kept screwing up on me and almost every other page load during peek hours wouldn't actually load correctly.
