I've been enjoying my current LJ style for a little while now. It's awesomeness to have a guy in a band I enjoy being all friendly with my adorable little frog purse, but I think it's time for a new style on my LJ.

So, today I decided I was tired of the prepackaged headers offered by LJ, so I went in and fixed one of the styles to have my own header image, then spent an ass load of time adjusting colors to better match the image. Yay! I've got penguins on my LJ now. ^_^ And it only took a little copying and pasting to get my customizations from the standard expressive applied to the expressive seasonal. Woo. We'll see how long I leave this style before maybe going back to the other expressive style I've been using. But yay for penguins!

So, since I've started using expressive for my style here, I've been watching s2expressive so that I can find cool things to do to it, and so that I can maybe help other people make theirs better. I should have known better. Something that works so well in the IE at work wouldn't work right in Firefox at home. It's just a given. So, they released a new style thingie recently. I wasn't happy with it at first, but they made some tweeks to it, so I'm going to give it a go now. I just did the switch on my lunch break today, and when I get home, I'll probably play with the css to make it more as I like it. Huh, I was going to say I seem to have fixed the voice posting issue on my LJ style, but now I don't see the flash playback thing at all on my test post even when I don't implement my changes, so it's not that the fix made the flash bit go away. Weird. My style seems to work for now, so I suppose I'll not worry about it.

Oh, BTW, LJ, you fucking suck. Your god damn in line voice post player with the flash? It is fucking up my modifications to my lovely little LJ style, and making me need to make time to fix it because you absolutely must just shove your new shit onto our friends page regardless of if we want it or not. After a bunch of playing, my LJ is all set up for tag stuff. Woo. Annoying thing with actually customizing your style? It means you have to manually add new stuff in instead of automagically picking it up when LJ pushes through the change.
