And fuck that experiment.
I should have known better. Something that works so well in the IE at work wouldn't work right in Firefox at home. It's just a given. I'd been hoping it was a magical wonderful thing that was actually created in a reasonable and useful fashion, but upon closer inspection, I found a lot of javascript, and I found that content (sidebar and entries alike) "jiggled" as I scrolled down the page. That really isn't going to work for something I view as frequently as my friends page. So back to flexible squares I go. Yay.
I'm kinda sad, as I kinda liked the look of the flavor I'd settled on, it just needed a little tweeking, but if it is depending so much on the javascript and jiggles like jello when scrolling down, it's just not acceptable.
