What's more important?

So, right now money's tight, but there are things I really need to do. It's getting to the point where I might start applying at some of my fall back job options, just to get a little income again. At any rate, I'm trying to consider what things I need to have that I don't have yet. Maybe you guys can help me decide. These are the things I think I ( Read more... )

I've found with CD/DVD/PS2 Games the best way to go is to get CD folders, OK you don't have the boxes (box them up and store them) which are nice. But it has vastly improved my style of life what with have piles of all 3 which have all shrunk down to 3 folders. When it comes to paper shredding I just burn it all in a fire, don't know how practical this is for you, but I much prefere it to a paper shredder. Bathroom shelfing and book shelfing is important though. When it comes to laundry I find the cheap collapsible boxes are preferable to any other kind of laundry bin, because you can have a couple and they are about the size of one load of washing.

I already have laundry baskets, two of 'em that are curved so they sit on my hip easily. Since the washing machine is right next to my living space, it's easy to do a load here and there and keep things under control if I actually think about it.

The CD folder/wallet idea isn't bad, but I'd have to go out and invest in serious amounts of CD containment when I don't use the CDs much. The DVDs, I like having my liner notes and boxes. The games could get by in the folder/wallet deal, but if I'm just getting it for the half a dozen games I have, what's the point?

Burning my secure paper waste isn't really an option, I don't have access to a fireplace or other safe place to set the paper afire. So I'm stuck with the paper shredder.

I'm curious to know why you ranked couch so low in the list?

I went a couple of years without one. You can get by piling up bedding.

Actually now I look at it I don't have one at the moment. Just a couple of armchairs.
