Yesterday, I stopped at Petco to pick up Kitty food for the feral kitten we've been feeding here. Every time I stop in at petco, I end up browsing the collar section pondering purchasing something. I actually did this time. They had a pretty turquoise leather collar with diamond shaped studs on it which came in a size that would fit me. ^_^

Yay! For pretty collars ^^ Most of my collection has come from pet stores, though I've gotten a few from online leatherworkers and hot topic, though those are more showy.

It's hard to find something that gets the point across while still being subtle - I used to wear full-sized dog collars, which felt nice but caused some distress among those pretending to be interested in my welfare - but when you get the right balance it's definitely a good thing. And you never know who you might meet through the wonder of mutual interest in accessories~
