I've been trying to keep a food log for the past few days to really see what I have been eating and hopefully be able to make sure I am getting all the nutrients I need. It's really crazy how being pregnant has changed my perspective on a few things. One, I simply can't look at food from a weight-loss perspective. Having said that, I know that I ( Read more... )

Wow. body doesn't want eggs! I think Shazzie did not eat eggs during her pregnancy - she GIVES eggs occasionally to Evie, as far as I remember. I'm pretty sure she also sources them out. Free-range is a cop-out for chickens just not in cages - they are still cooped up in a big room without daylight. find free-run or go direct to a farm - I'm sure you know this if you're vegan.

You could always contact that supplement company and ask them about the K2.
Have you read Creating Healthy Children by karen Ranzi?

hehe, no my body did NOT want those eggs! No, Shazzie didn't eat them during her pregnancy and yeah I am sure that she sources them out. I simply bought the best of what I have access to- organic and free range although I am aware of the fact that these words basically mean nothing :/ It's just one of those things that comes with not having access to a car. I can't go check out farms just like I can't go collect my own spring water. Sucks big time!

In the medium term, I'm still not sure what i'm going to do about this though.

I have not read that book, but I will absolutely look into it! Thanks for the recommendation.

If you DO want them...is there any sort of organic delivery service that may have them? Car co-op? If I didn't have a car I'd use the car co-op to get water or tag along with someone else and give them some gas moola :)
