The sound of the front door opening signaled the arrival of one Yagami Taichi. This wasn't his first time here, but he wasn't quite the regular just yet. Agumon was with him.

"Hello," Taichi said, good naturedly, raising his hand in a wave.

Duo was still staring off in to space when Taichi entered, but the bell at least got his attention.

"Hey!" he greeted, surprised to see him there but cheerful all the same.

"Hey Duo," Taichi said. "I was just passing by and thought I'd say hello."

"Looks like we showed up just in time," Agumon said with a smirk.

Duo's eyebrow ticked up at Agumon's comment curiously.

"Just in time? ... I think I missed something."

"That happens when you lock yourself in your office for hours trying to hide from us," Sam piped up from the counter, earning a look from Duo for the comment.

Her shift didn't start until later, but she'd seen what had happened over the comm and felt like she needed to make sure Duo was okay. So she'd left the house early, gotten into her work uniform, and made her way over to Axoryi.

She entered the teashop and looked around for any sign of him.

"Yehknow, if you want more hours I can just give them to you, Estelle," Duo said from behind where she was standing, having been outside for a minute himself. He had seen her enter but she hadn't seen him, which gave him the chance to follow her in just to tease her a little.

At the familiar voice, Estelle smiled, turning around and giggling sheepishly at her friend.

"No thank you! I think Yuri would complain if I workedany more than I already do," she said. Her gaze then softened at Duo.

"So you're all right, then?" He'd know what she meant.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Duo nodded, letting the smile fade. He motioned to the kitchen where Kentarou and Haku could be seen working. "Team Mom decided to come and check in on me. ... how are you holdin' up?"
