And Masaru followed Daigo without missing a beat. To say he was pissed was putting it mildly. He'd already been on edge after what happened to Ivan, but THIS? And everything ELSE going on around them?

So, he followed Daigo. Pretty much without a word beyond yelling back into his home where he was going. Agumon, of course, followed.

But for the moment, he didn't do anything but follow. Some time ago, it'd be different, and he'd already be out there hunting people down. But... that was some time ago. So he held himself in check.

For the moment.

Nanoha didn't miss much of a beat as Daigo entered. In fact, she didn't even bother to look up. He desk was a mess of paperwork, with a datapad and her open D-Comm lying amidst it. Kudamon sat on her shoulder, and they'd been discussing something, but immediately stopped after the first knock.

By the time the words came out of Daigo's mouth, she was speaking also. "Figured one of you would be here," she said, "or both. I doubt you'll be the first."

She squinted, eyes focusing on Liomon's message.

"We're down to myself, Satsuma-san, and Yushima-san here," she said. "I'll be calling Vent in on any major decisions, considering all of that, but..."

She looked up, finally. "We can't do much of anything until we know what we're hitting. I'll leave running investigations to Satsuma-san and Fate, but with Ivan and Suguru-san injured... that leaves me overseeing base tactics."

She took a breath.

"Of course... I imagine you figured all of that, and you wouldn't be here without something to say."

Yoshino had come as well, but was remaining in the back. She hadn't stormed in or come in with authority, but she looked deep in thought, and was holding everything in reserve.

"I'm sure we all have a lot to say," she said, speaking up firmly but quietly. "But... we also have to make sure we don't say anything out of anger or hurt..."

She said that for her own sake, not Masaru's... in her time here, he was just as much a father figure for her as Satsuma was.

"He was the commander in charge of digimon relations, wasn't he? That means... that means it was more than just a threat on his life..."
