Despite it's financial issues the Hyperion had spared no expense setting up a delightful Christmas spread of finger foods and desserts. An actual dinner was being prepared by a catering company with Ham, Turkey, rolls, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and all manner of delightful treats and finger foods.
Goblimon is manning the drink station with various sodas, juices, Eggnog, Cocoa and some alcoholic beverages that he keeps on the other side of the table away from the under aged.

Inbetween songs from Lorne and whoever is brave enough to step up and sing music is playing all through the night, Christmas classics and casual party music. Digimon and Tamer alike are on the floor with partners or alone swaying, swinging, and in some cases doing things that look like they require medical attention.
Somewhere in all the action is a tiny Lunamon with her stuffed Cabbit waltzing around adorably with him as her partner.
Away from the dance floor a beautiful stone hearth has been constructed and a sitting area full of comfy chairs and sofas surrounds it.
With the fire crackling cheerfully and stockings barring all the Hyperion's employees over it party goers can relax over here and chat, enjoy their food and drinks and share tender moments in front of the fire.
Sarasim is one such party goer sitting with Kudamon peacefully sipping her cocoa and watching the fire.

Lance was there too, not being much of a party-goer himself. Hooshah was curled against the wall beside the fire, forming a kind of corner, with Lance leaning back against her near enough to the hearth to feel the heat but not get burned, Draca curled in his lap and purring faintly in contentment. The redhead watched the people beyond the chairs, absently humming along with the Christmas carols and occasionally taking a sip of his hot chocolate.
He didn't really have any intention whatsoever of braving the horde. Christmas hadn't been as important back home as New Years'; Lance hadn't really been predisposed toward celebrating it anyway, but when he and his family and friends did, they didn't usually do much other than what he was already doing: spending time together. He even thought he'd bought more presents in the past week than in his entire life previously. Not that that said much ... he hadn't really known what to get most people this Christmas anyway.

"It's a little different for us isn't it?" Sarasim commented idly to him from her chair opposite him, Kudamon hanging off her shoulders.
"Hmm?" Kudamon commented with a hiccup she had partaken too much of the open bar.
"Well we...you and I, and Lance and his partners...even now we have an eye and an ear open for trouble. Their holiday spirit, cheer and joy depends on us protecting their home." She mused.

Lance blinked, tearing his gaze from the almost mesmerising shift of people to look at Sarasim before realising that she had been speaking partly to him. He hummed slightly in answer. "That was always my excuse for not celebrating: 'the bad guys don't stop for Christmas'." He smiled wryly. "My sister and some of my friends never did buy it. Even though sometimes ..." His eyes went distant, staring unseeingly across the room, fingers tracing the rim of the mug. Sometimes I turned out to be right.
"My last Christmas back home," he murmured almost without thinking, "the local terrorists targeted three major public locations across the regions. I spent Christmas Eve and the whole of Christmas Day supervising paramedics and digging people out of damaged buildings and vehicles... the entire southern side of the capital's festival boulevard had to be cordoned off."
As with all things at the Hyperion music is a large part of the party tonight and a stage has been set up with all the karaoke stage.
Lights and tinsel line the stage and a large screen features music videos or shots of whoever's singing.
Onizuka and Goblimon (Who are both more then a few beers into their Christmas spirit) get up and begin Stumbling and laughing over one another but putting on an amusing show no less.

Amused as Haku was at her fiancee's antics, even she had to admit it really could be done better in a family comprised mainly of singers. That, and really, she needed the release after what had happened to her friends in Meria.
Giggling and clapping after they finally got through their drunken song, Haku got up and promptly dragged them away from the microphone.
"Sorry, baby. I've gotta show you how it's done," she said with a giggle, taking the microphone and launching in to a song.

Onizuka hooted and cheered for his bride to be the flush of his "Holiday spirits" still lingering on his cheeks. He was in awe of her, his eyes seemed to sparkle with love and affection for her as she sang.
At the end of it all he threw rose petals and his boxer shorts onto stage (How he removed them without taking off his pants is a mystery)
