Watanuki had only been home for a few minutes, reading Doumeki's short note as he passed his door. 'I guess he'll be back soon. And he'll be hungry.' So he'd started on making dinner, stopping abruptly when he heard someone scream outside. Going to the window, he looked down and saw Doumeki and Moro, both crying, and a woman in a long white dress walking quickly away from them.

Turning off the stove he rushed out of the apartment and down to the street. "Doumeki!? What's going on? Who was that woman?" He knelt down next to Doumeki, in concern. He'd never seen his friend like this.

Doumeki jerked up with a start, breath hitching painfully in his chest. When he turned, it was like his vision was split - one eye could see Watanuki alive and well, right in front of him, but the other could still see the edge of that nightmare, distorted and fading from his view of reality.

In a few seconds the entire thing passed, and his vision returned to normal, but he couldn't stop the ragged, frightened breathing or the trembling in his hands. Moro was still sobbing, though she, too, was beginning to realize what she saw wasn't real.

"W... Wata-kun... ?" she asked, shaking her head roughly, "W-we didn't see anyone else... j-just..."

Doumeki, however, was still verbally unresponsive, staring at Watanuki as if he might also fade away any second. Uncertain, he reached out and touched the other boy's arm, and feeling it solid, yanked him roughly in to a tight, shaking hug.

"Doumeki...?" He asked, a little confused, but let the other boy hold him. Glancing down at ground he saw what he thought was blood, but it faded just as quickly.

"Doumeki, what happened?"

Doumeki just shook his head, refusing to let go and leaving Moro to answer.

"We were walking home and we thought we saw you run in to an alley. When we couldn't find you, we came back out, a-and... you were on the roof top..."

Moro couldn't finish, just shaking her head same as her tamer. It was too horrible to even recount out loud.
