This year's scan offerings were truly one of a kind. Download stations with data for the items were set up all throughout the city. They were not digimon weapons, but instead based on items created by various private contractors.

The first offering was the Elemental Sword. A blade that could switch between a flaming variety, a freezing blade, or an electrical blade.

The second were several types of Elemental Armor, a glowing shield that could protect from fire, water, steel, thunder, ice, wind, wood, darkness, or light attacks from various digimon by surrounding its wielder with an appropriate colored glow. Only one kind of shield could be selected, and unlike the weapons it could not shift.

The third offering was the Elemental Cannon, a projectile counterpart of the Elemental Sword, that fired either vaccuum blades, water torrents, or bullets of varying light or darkness energy.

The fourth and final selection was dubbed the Booster Pack, that allowed one to safely accelerate to high speeds for a period of five minutes at a time.

"I gotta admit this party is alot better then last year." Noir observed strolling casually through the crowd, his size made people veer around him and he chuckled, "Then again last year I was pretty much on my own, just me and Pico. I hadn't even gotten that friendly with Jinx yet." He was playing with the Elemental Cannon he'd just gotten and seemed pretty pleased with it.

He tilted his hat back a little and looked nostalgic, "God it's already been over a year."

"You're telling me."

The words came from Kevin Levin, who wandered up behind Noir looking rather annoyed. "Hey pal, have you seen like an autoparts type set up around here? I just keep finding more mimes."

Noir turned and recognized Kevin from around the Inn, "Ah can't say that I have...would they have that sort of thing at a celebration like this?"

"Oh hey Noir that reminds me, we still need to get the Warthog fixed up." Pico chirped in causing Noir to groan and rub his forehead with his fingers frustratedly, "I'll call Skuld in the morning, she'll be thrilled. Stupid Moosemon."

Kevin grinned, and sidled up to Noir.

"Why don't you let me take a crack at that? I'm pretty good with machines."

Sakura remembered this day. How couldn't she?

Today was the day she found out about how Tomoyo felt about her. And, even now, with Syaoran here?

She still loved her. She wouldn't deny that. She'd love both Tomoyo and Syaoran for as long as she could.

A slight blush formed on her face as she tapped the ground with the Elemental Sword. "I can't believe it's already been a year..."

"And we've experienced quite a lot in just one year, haven't we?"

Tomoyo's face could either be described as one of joy or bliss, as she definitely remembered this day just as well as Sakura. Though, you would probably only see one side of her face, as she was holding up her camera that was videotaping Sakura's every move.

"'Our Anniversary.' I think that sounds like an appropriate name, wouldn't you agree Sakura-chan~?"

Sakura giggled and nodded at Tomoyo, turning to face her. "I think it fits quite well!"

"I'm surprised to see them so chipper after all that's happened!" Windy said. "But, hey, I think they deserve a bit of enjoyment..."

Tomoyo smiled happily at Sakura, handing the camera to Piyomon before pulling the CardCaptor in an embrace-Sword and all.

"Yeah they do...have we heard anything yet regarding Sakura-chan's older self?" Piyomon asked, having to do double duty with holding not only the camera but Tomoyo's own Elemental Sword!

Shadow was present on the grounds, with Dark Presence at his side. One might find it presumptuous to wear one's cape and crown in public in this situation, but... well, the mutated hedgehog was very much presumptuous.

He had ruled Mobius for a number of years, pulled it out of chaos. He would ensure that people knew he was the Ultimate Lifeform and King. It was only proper.

Why had he come here? There were things to do in this world, and this festival... granted him a unique chance to look at parts of them all at once. And so he walked, studying everyone and everything around him.

Sally had only been to the last Creation Day celebration for a short while - she had been very busy, trying to get accustom to DATS. So she thought this year she and PawnChessmon would spend more time there, probably meet up with Sonic and enjoy the day.

After what had just happened...they needed it.

She caught a glimpse of Shadow - with a crown? Wow, his ego had grown - and gave a small wave before continuing on her way.

Shadow caught sight of Sally as well, and his eyes... widened considerably. Then narrowed.

He sped forward, dashing in front of Sally and glaring.

"My queen. How... interesting to find you here."

Sally looked at Shadow, utterly bewildered, her brows furrowing...and then she returned the glare and straightened her stance.

"I don't know why you're calling me that, but I would like to pass, Shadow."

The security bothered Quick but he tried not to let it show. After all, if you acted like you belonged there, most people didn't question it. And as long as he didn't show off his speed, no one would be able to pick him out of a crowd without his armor.

"This isn't half bad, but I wouldn't call it a party."

"Why not? It has sweet party favors and great food." Already having been stuffed with food to keep him from whining, Fluffy hung off Quick's shoulder.

"It's too.... controlled." But he had to agree about the party favors. Any place that gave out weapons got high points in his book.

Quick Man wouldn't be the only person put off by the security around this event. As there's one fellow amid the crowd who just doesn't look like he belongs here, or at least looks horribly uncomfortable with being here.

"If you didn't wanna come you could'a told him no." The smaller then average Otamamon that was sitting on the fellow's, Shadow Man, head muttered. That only made the ninja shake he head before looking around.

"That doesn't matter right now. And this is quite..." He was thinking of what word to use when he noticed Quick and Fluffy and he started to head right towards them now. "Interesting now, at least."

"That and is it just me or are they sending mixed signals?" Quick was just wandering around now, hoping something of interest would catch his eye.

"What do you mean?" Fluffy tried to climb higher and perch on Quick's shoulder but all that food he ate wasn't helping and he kept slipping off.

"That they have all these guards but are handing out-" He paused and frowned slightly. Before Fluffy could question his Tamer's oddness, Quick continued talking, this time in a lower tone. "Weapons and such." He was being paranoid again. Still, Fluffy perked his ears up and sniffed at the air for anything unusual - Quick would feed him more for the simple act. But the air was saturated with the smells and sounds of the people around them and he couldn't make anything out.

Shadow Man kept heading towards Quick and Fluffy, only stopping once he saw Fluffy perk up and sniff around. He remained quiet and did his best to blend into the crowd. Which for him isn't to hard to do, it is something he was built to do after all.

That is until Kero spoke up, having spotted Quick himself.

"Oh hey it's the red guy who likes kissing other guys! HEY RED GUY WHO LIKES GUYS!" Stealth killer, thy name is Kero.
