This year's scan offerings were truly one of a kind. Download stations with data for the items were set up all throughout the city. They were not digimon weapons, but instead based on items created by various private contractors.

The first offering was the Elemental Sword. A blade that could switch between a flaming variety, a freezing blade, or an electrical blade.

The second were several types of Elemental Armor, a glowing shield that could protect from fire, water, steel, thunder, ice, wind, wood, darkness, or light attacks from various digimon by surrounding its wielder with an appropriate colored glow. Only one kind of shield could be selected, and unlike the weapons it could not shift.

The third offering was the Elemental Cannon, a projectile counterpart of the Elemental Sword, that fired either vaccuum blades, water torrents, or bullets of varying light or darkness energy.

The fourth and final selection was dubbed the Booster Pack, that allowed one to safely accelerate to high speeds for a period of five minutes at a time. It was realized in the form of a back-pack like item that appeared on the wielder's back.
