Fanbeemon stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed that Zero was staring at him. Lowering his gaze, he just continued to watch the situation from a distance. Why didn't she use her shield? Why didn't she just shove the boy out of the way? Did she really want to get hurt this badly? Was just a few of a hundred things running through his mind

"Alright. Sorry about this," Miria nodded and reached out to Skuld.

"It's all right. It makes me happy to help a machine get back up to working order," Skuld said, moving to wrap one of Miria's arms around her shoulders after helping her up.

As Miria stood up, she tried to avoid putting too much weight on Skuld. After all she was made of metal, and metal generally wasn't light. Regardless though, Miria was grateful for Skuld's help to balance herself; If she wasn't there, Miria was sure she would be stumbling all the way down the hall.

Luckily for Miria, Skuld did a lot of work with machines and metal, so she was stronger than she looked and quite capable of helping support her weight.

"Is everything okay?" Renamon asked when Skuld finally left the room with Miria.

"Only the touch up work left," Skuld said.

Taichi was going over old reports on his D-Reader as Zero stretched and warmed down when Skuld and Miria turned up again. Zero saw them first, and he hurriedly nudged Taichi.

"What--" Surprise bloomed on his face. "You're looking better." Better than Taichi had expected!

"Hi Taichi. Hi Zero," Miria greeted them. "Yeah, Skuld here is an amazing mechanic. I've never heard of anyone able to work on a fusion reactor while it was still running!"

"Well, I wouldn't recommend getting others to do it. As amazing as I am, I did have the advantage that a fusion reactor wouldn't kill me even with exposure," Skuld said, though she was smirking confidently.
