Kenshin had yet to leave Asuka since his arrival. He had the capability to do so, per the "data" given to him by Arika. But ... there was no real rush, just yet
( ... )
There was a commotion, suddenly, as Kenshin turned the corner. A Dinohumon was snickering as he loomed over a tiny, terrified looking Hawkmon.
"What's the matter?" cackled the reptile digimon. "Can you not pay me? Oh, how unfortunate, after I've been spending so much of my time protecting you and your insignificant family..."
He grinned with insanity.
"I believe I'll take the difference out of your HIDE."
Needless to say, Kenshin and BushiAgumon immediately caught notice of this. And heard every word.
BushiAgumon looked just a bit irritated at first, then... noticeably surprised as Kenshin continued walking forward, calmly, his expression not flickering from its jovial state.
"Ah, begging your pardon..." he began, and just ... started to walk in between Dinohumon and the family as if he hadn't noticed what just went one.
Kenshin gave Vyse a long look, before turning his gaze back ahead.
"It is true, of course, that the wealthy and privileged often have more than they really need... and a lot that can be offered to those who need it, despite their unwillingness to part with any fraction of their wealth. At the same time, this one cannot approve of inciting conflict and violence such as that, but..."
He smiled a bit. "You are honest, at least, and strike me honorable despite those things. So that is appreciated... and not exactly a deterrent to our situation at hand, anyhow, yes?"
"... I'm glad we can agree on that at least. You seem an honorable man as well, Kenshin."
Nodding, the two of them continued on, to the other side of the city, where the lord's home could be found. Except, it was built like a foretress, with rifle wielding BushiAgumon on the walls and on the building's ramparts, as well as Mushamon and Dinohumon patrolling the grounds.
"Whoooo," said Vyse, whistling from where he was taking cover. "Looks like we're going to have to sneak in."
He turned towards Kenshin. "I do know about this country. Susanoomon, the Area Leader, is not the type of person to allow stuff like this to go on... if he knew about it. What we need to find is something incriminating..."

"... Pow, hold on a sec," he said, as he began to approach the Dinohumon.
Pow nodded... and kept pace behind his partner.

"And do what, attack him? No, that would not improve matters here. And such a person would be unwilling to talk to intruders."
