Kenshin had yet to leave Asuka since his arrival. He had the capability to do so, per the "data" given to him by Arika. But ... there was no real rush, just yet
( ... )
There was a commotion, suddenly, as Kenshin turned the corner. A Dinohumon was snickering as he loomed over a tiny, terrified looking Hawkmon.
"What's the matter?" cackled the reptile digimon. "Can you not pay me? Oh, how unfortunate, after I've been spending so much of my time protecting you and your insignificant family..."
He grinned with insanity.
"I believe I'll take the difference out of your HIDE."
Needless to say, Kenshin and BushiAgumon immediately caught notice of this. And heard every word.
BushiAgumon looked just a bit irritated at first, then... noticeably surprised as Kenshin continued walking forward, calmly, his expression not flickering from its jovial state.
"Ah, begging your pardon..." he began, and just ... started to walk in between Dinohumon and the family as if he hadn't noticed what just went one.
BushiAgumon gasped, covering his eyes. Oh, he never expected his Tamer to be this short lived...
...
While Kenshin?
Jumped up.
And landed.
On the flat of Dinohumon's blade.
Kenshin gave a seemingly nervous laugh, rubbing his head as he stood balanced on the sword. "This one really suggests you stop that... it will only be said this one last time."
Kenshin jumped straight up as he began to flail, avoiding blows from both fist and blade. He went a considerable distance up in the air, gazing down with a far stronger expression.
No, this kind of person wouldn't listen to reason as things stood right now.
Flicking his thumb up to his sword's tsuba, he tilted the scabbard down at Dinohumon as he hung in the air.
"Hiten Misturugi-ryuu! Battoujusu!"
He shot the sword out of its sheath at a RATHER high rate of speed. The sakabatou shot down, hilt-first, aiming to strike Dinohumon dead center in the forehead.
Kenshin's sword - its blade reversed from normal, as anyone who paid attention to it would notice - landed straight up in the ground. Kenshin himself sighed, walking over and pulling it out.
As he sheathed it, he turned to the family that was being harassed.
"This one would advise you to seek authorities," he said, politely. "Lest this incident repeats itself."
BushiAgumon, on the other hand... had to forcefully push his own mouth shut. Just what the hell had he wandered INTO?
The Muchomon patriarch stared at Kenshin for a moment... before laughing bitterly.
"You want us to go to the authorities?" he asked. "Look at that man's symbol. The sash across his chest."
Vyse approached closer, his eyes focusing on where the penguin was pointing.
"That's the symbol of the local lord. That fool serves a man who came into power during the civil war. The local regent. He was made a lord because he had the forces to oppose Orochimon's army... but when the war ended, they were left to take their wrath out on US..."
Hearing Muchomo's words... Vyse's eyes narrowed, and he scowled.

"... Pow, hold on a sec," he said, as he began to approach the Dinohumon.
Pow nodded... and kept pace behind his partner.

He pointed his cleaver sword at Kenshin. "You! I'm going to make an example out of you...!"

He may have to act faster than he thought...

His hand dropped casually down beside his scabbard.
"Really, there is no need for violence..."
BushiAgumon... stared with a similar level of disbelief that Vyse had.

The Dinohumon laughed maniacally. "I hear you Tamers don't come apart when you're killed... I'll tear your heart and eat it...!"
And with that, he slashed down at Kenshin...

Actually, if they hadn't blinked, they still would have missed.
He didn't move far, just enough for the cleaver to come down beside him, into the ground.
"Again," Kenshin said, hand now resting on his scabbard. "Violence is not needed."
Reply
Dinohumon attempted another slash, this one diagonally.

"GET THE HELL OFF MY SWORD, YOU FILTHY TAMER...!"
