Sumiko glanced up, having just managed to get Floramon to stop crying. It had been so, so long since she'd seen her little sister in person or so much as spoken to her. She wasn't sure what to do, beyond standing and taking a few steps towards her.
"Yoshino..."
"Hello," Floramon announced, hurriedly wiping her eyes.
Floramon blinked at Lalamon as she shook her hand, a little surprised. So often, other digimon wanted little to do with her.
"You too...!" she exclaimed, trying to remember some of what Sumiko had told her about her previous encounters with digimon. "Hey, um... You're not from around here, are you?"
...well, it was a start.
Sumiko glanced over at the digimon. It was so easy for them. It was so easy for her with strangers. So why was talking to her sister so difficult?
Then again, it wasn't always the time for words.
Sumiko stepped forward and awkwardly tried to hug Yoshino.

When she came into the clearing Sumiko she was in, and stopped. She took a deep breath and approached her sister.
"Sumiko-neesan...?"

This year hadn't done that any favors.
"... I'm here," was all she said.
Lalamon floated up to Floramon and... grabbed ahold of her hand, shaking it. "I'm Lalamon! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
