Sumiko was having trouble taking everything in everything she'd read on the D-Comm. No way home, Yoshino was not only alive but married to a sixteen-year-old boy, she was an aunt already, different worlds... It was enough to turn her muted hay fever into a full blown headache.
"Um, Sum--" Floramon started.
The drink Floramon had made her before had done fairly well for her hay fever, but right now she needed just to process everything, without interruptions. Sumiko held up a hand for silence.
Floramon stared at her for a second, then burst into tears again.
