Nic sat cross-legged on a bench, as far away from the digimon as she could get. (As such, a five metre radius around her was completely free of decorations.) On her lap was a sketchbook: Observers might notice that she was drawing Megadude Z and Xerox, and surprisingly well for having no reference materials, at that.

A sudden voice from behind Nic commented, "That is very good, young one."

Firestar, in his cat form, had crept up to the bench and was balancing on its back, observing the young human child silently. He'd watched humans draw before and it intrigued him, to say the least.

Nic jumped, looking at the cat curiously. She'd seen him before, hadn't she? Around the Inns when the snow was down...

"T-thanks..." She glanced back down at her work, finding all the flaws in it. "It's not really, though."

A purr rising in his throat, Firestar responded, "But it is. Especially to someone like me." To emphasize, he raised a paw. "I can't exactly pick up things like you humans can."

"I can't believe you threw that in..." Pico was commenting as she and Noir entered the clearing.

"Oh come on it'll be great! If this isn't the best sauce the Mendetta family has ever produced I'll eat my hat. Beastboy liked it till I told him there was meatjuice in it." Noir was smiling, a rare enough sight to be sure, but he was in a good mood after making the Mendetta family sauce. It made him feel more connected to his missing family.

He couldn't help but look up at the sky and wonder where his sister was right then...he was swiftly shaken out of it however by the tag along that had come to the party with him...

A green Kangaroo bounced over Noir and poked him in the nose with one of it's hind paws grinning in a manner that normal Kangaroos should be unable to grin.

"H..hey I was thinkin' here back off!" Noir growled being startled out of his deep thoughts.

"Why break the record of not thinking?" Plotmon teased from inside Beastboy's pouch. She grinned at Pico who laughed at the tease for her own Tamer.

The odd duo of Tamers and amused Duo of Digimon joined the party.

Olette gave Ash and Sadie confused looks as she brought over a cooler of ice cream. She was standing closer to Gomamon and Pai, but the argument was fairly loud.

"I don't think I want to ask," she decided.

"Probably not," Floramon agreed.

"They do this all the time," Gomamon confided.

Pai nodded. "I think it's just out of habit, or because they've got nobody else to. They like each other, really."

"I hate Pai, though," beamed Gomamon. The Shakomon in question merely rolled her eyes.
