Ash arrived early to set up his camera, and, as luck would have it, a backdrop and lights. He had no idea who Pukamon had bribed talked to to get them, but he was pretty grateful.

"Phooooooootooooooos!" Pukamon yelled, floating erratically around the room. "Twenty-five BIT a photo!"

Pausing, Pukamon turned to address him. "You're tragic, you know. You should have dressed up and taken Olette!"

Ash twitched. Hopefully someone would be along for a photo soon...

Just like he had planned, Zuko was all dressed up as his favorite baby sister. He was surprised he had found all the necessary parts, honestly. The armor, the crown and even the exact shade of lipstick Azula used to wear. Agumon was even dressed up trying to look like a Renamon. Both were already having way too much fun with this. Zuko was walking around the ballroom imitating Azula and Agumon was imitating Azula's Renamon. Zuko didn't see Azula or Sokka around yet, so he had to find other ways to amuse himself for the time being

Managing to keep his urge to laugh to a smirk (hell, he didn't want to get burnt), Ash accepted the money, and, against his better judgement, passed it to Pukamon. "Sure... Just step over here..."

He led Zuko to the backdrop before retreating behind his camera, leaving the poses up to him.

"I'll need your D-Comm frequency so I can send it to you later."

On cue, Pukamon floated up with a form and a pen.

Knowing his sister's frequency, Zuko wrote hers down instead of his. Oh, she'd love that.

"I'm trusting you to make these the best pictures in the history of forever since I'm a princess and all, I only deserve the best," Zuko said in his Azula voice. He put a hand on his hip and examined his nails for one pose. For another he simply crossed his arms across his chest and smirked.

He had to remember, as he had been doing as he adjusted the very wide brim of his hat, that he was doing this for Lillian. Otherwise, he would've never thought to come in a costume, let alone come to this ball at all.

That is, if she was even here. Part of him had to wonder if this was just another "plot" courtesy of the people he considered "friends" to get him out in the open doing something not like him.

"I can't remember the last time I saw you this tense," Kudamon remarked from around his shoulders, "Don't tell me you're having a social anxiety attack over this."

Satsuma sighed, most of it thinly laced with frustration. "Kudamon, this has nothing to do with social anxiety. I have no problem attending formal dinners or galas, but..." The DATS captain scanned the room before he finished, "...This is more like some sort of Halloween party than a formal gathering."

"That's still *a* form of social anxiety, isn't it?"

Satsuma never replied outside of an annoyed sneer.

Lillian's voice called out, and suddenly, she grabbed his arm, grinning. The woman was wearing an almost exact duplicate of the evil stepmother's costume from Disney's version of Snow White.

"Hope I haven't been keeping uou waiting long..."

It would have to be that moment his face went red, then using his free hand to clear his throat and find his voice again. Kudamon, on the other hand, didn't seem convinced. 'An interesting choice of costume, it would seem.'

"No, of course not." Satsuma finally replied, even though his initial reaction merited giggles.

Lillian laughed, and pulled on his arm. "Then come on," she said, pulling him towards the dance floor. "I want to dance...!"

Wallace had managed to get his Indiana Jones costume, complete with whip, and Lopmon was going as the dog he was named after. Terriermon was grounded after the little Blame Canada stunt he had pulled earlier.

Felix had managed to appropriate a bald cap for his costume, and...

"TO ME MY X-MON!"

Gaomon was now wearing sunglasses with red lenses and a black t-shirt with a large yellow X on it.

Tommy, lacking in any ideas for a costume, decided to show up in his morphed form, with Saba dressed up to look like a miniature version of the Tiger Zord.

"Hey, Dr. O!" proclaimed Kira as she walked up to him. "Nice suit. I do like it, although it could use a little more black."

Dressed as Tina Turner during the eighties fad, she was the epitome of retro. "I know we haven't met face to face, but I'm Kira. You've met Conner right?"

"Nice to meet you. Yeah, I did. Er, I may have freaked out a little on him-"

"A little?"

"Shut up Saba. ANyways yeah, sorry about doing that. Just, y'know, I never even thought of being a doctor, Or teaching, or being an active Ranger until I'm nearly in my thirties."

Kira laughed. "It amused Adam Park too. I met him in a team-up when I assisted another Ranger team; Operation Overdrive. And don't worry; Conner isn't so bad." she added.
