And In the digital world, only the most deadly of predictors stalked the night.

"Paullllloooo~" Her voice, as sweet as honey and smooth as silk drifted on the winds.

"Paullllllloooo~" Again but a whisper against his ear, warm breath running down the fur on his neck.

His mother once more, beautiful as she ever could be...except this time she had the lower body of a spider.

But she had silently laned, RIGHT BEHIND HIM!

And he froze, the voice causing his entire body to seize up the same way barking did. He gasped, the breath catching in his throat. It burned, the air in his lungs. He couldn't move, his fingers stopped mid typing. This was insane. Why was she here? Why was this happening now?!

"Feline..." The Gaomon growled from the other side of Paulo, his eyes on the being that looked like an Arukenimon had fused with his mother. He stared into her button eyes. He couldn't move without risking something happening to his tamer for now. So it was a waiting game.

It was so fast, her claws slashed at his back like four butchers knives, tonight she was sure, was the night she would stop toying with this disgusting beast and end him once and for all.

"Fuck!" Paulo stumbled forward, his back already staining with something wet and warm. Blood. He was bleeding. Breaker quickly charged the spider woman and threw a quick succession of punches at her, hoping to get some distance between them and the bitch. Paulo gasped as the pain shot through his entire body. It hurt and there was no taunting behind this one, no words or anything else. Just the pain. He felt tears stinging his eyes. Shit this hurt. He turned on her and watched his partner attack her.

His mother laughed and in turn drew back one of her many legs while the punches pounded at her powerful firm lower body. A sharp kick, literally because of the point on her leg was aimed at the little Breaker.

"Shit!" Breaker saw the kick coming and ducked under that sharp spear that passed as a leg. He jumped away from her. He couldn't do anything against her like this, not in his form. He had to digivolve. He turned to Paulo, who was still staring at the monster in fear. "Feline! You have to fight her! Fight back! This bitch mauled you twice and she isn't going to let you get away this time! Fight or die, pansy!"

Paulo flinched at the words and looked into those button eyes. Everything was coming back, the fear, the pain, the way people looked down on him when he told them about her. About how he feared the monster that looked like his mother. He gripped the D-Comm tightly and growled. He couldn't keep being weak, couldn't keep being scared. "I'm done..." The words came out soft and barely audible over the wind.

"Yes, you are." The other Mother purred her arms lashed out sending trashcans flying down the alley at him before she herself rushed forward, fangs barred ready to rip his throat out.

"I'M DONE!" Paulo dodged the first trashcan and actually kicked the other away. He ducked under her attack and aimed an uppercut for her chin. He didn't care if he was striking his mother. The bitch deserved it!

Normally such a pathetic lashing wouldn't have even touched the Beldam, but she had expected so little from her favorite victim she never saw it coming and the strike knocked her backwards.

By the time she landed she was completely human looking again rubbing her chin looking horrified, hurt, heartbroken. "P-paulo, honey...w-why did you do that?" Her voice enough to make weaker beings explode with guilt.

And the guilt exploded inside of him. The tears ran down his face and he quickly grabbed his ears. He shook his head and let out a scream of frustration, the D-Comm was still in his hand. "SHUT UP! You left me! You tried to kill me! I hate you! I fucking hate you!" He screamed, the anger and rage building up inside him. It was so much so Breaker was clenching his stomach and was shaking. This...this was bad. "F-Feline..."

"Y-you're insane." She whimpered and sniveled though she began to realize what was happening and silently savored it. She had done better then killed him. She had warped and broken part of him.

"I only...wanted to love you." She whispered.

"LYING BITCH!" Breaker screamed in pain, the dark emotions burning his insides. He fell over behind his tamer, writhing on the ground. A dark light surrounded him and he dark digivolved, a Dark Gaogamon now looming behind the feline. Paulo threw down the D-Comm, purple digisoul bursting up around his hands but it quickly spread across his entire body. The tears were still pouring but his eyes blazed with rage.

"I'LL KILL YOU BITCH!" He charged her, his entire body covered in his hate and guilt. He wasn't going to stop, not yet. Not until she was gone!

"Whoop!" She yelped and with speed that defied the crying she had just done backflipped off the ground just in time to avoid his charge by side stepping it. Her eyes twinkled with mirth and cruel delight.

Alice had heard it first.

Really, they all heard it, the three instructors of Hamilton Karate all gathered in the main office after classes had finished. But Alice had been the closest to her own D-Comm and picked it up first to see Paulo on the screen, raging like she had never seen anyone rage before.

But it was Suoh who realized that the scream wasn't coming from JUST the D-Comm, but from not that far outside the doors of the studio. At that realization, they were all on their feet and out the door in to the street where the fight could be seen in the distance, illuminated in odd lighting by the digisoul that Paulo was creating. Alice led the not-quite-cavalry charge in to the battle, stopping only when her eyes fell on just who it was that Paulo seemed to be fighting with such immense rage.

Her heart clenched, mouth going dry and palms going clammy with her fingers curled in to fists. How was this even possible?

"... mom... ?"

"Don't you run away from me!" The feline charged her again, aiming a spin kick for the Other Mother this time. The digisoul was still going strong. Dark Breaker on the other hand spotted the not-calvary and let out a loud roar. The digimon was huge, dark, and hungry for battle.

Oh ho! The Beldam saw opportunity and allowed the strike connect, right in her eye sending her to the ground hard. It would blacken and swell for effect and her head cracked hard on the ground.

Though she was only dazed...she had to admit Paulo was so much stronger with that darkness in him. She lay there and began trembling and crying for Alice to see.

"H-help me." She whispered.
