Wow, so Etsy has really been that bad for you? I've neglected mine because it just seemed like if I didn't spend several hours a day in the community forums, I didn't get any sales. Too much work for too little turn around I guess.
That is part of the point entirely... if I don't hob nob with the "favorites" on there I don't get noticed. Not that anyone would notice me there anyhow... because all my listings get BURIED by all the other jewelry artists there. And it actually does cost alot more than Artfire since they are essentially encouraging you to list and relist often to keep your items in view.... which is crap in my opinion. When I go shopping for something, I want my searches to bring up a list of things RELEVANT to my search... not merely the most recently listed items that have been tagged with words that may or may not have anything to do with my search. *gets off soapbox* There.... I'm done for a little while now.
PS.... Look into Artfire.... WAY easier to navigate and MUCH cheaper. Better promo tools too... and your photography could sell on there pretty darn well.
