oh how i hope you've finally sprung. so wonderful to see sunlight, color, vivacity.

saw the kiddies this afternoon. so beautiful. all of them. and each uniquely interesting and funny. love 'em so much!

This week the college kids are back.! Kind of exciting. Fingers crossed for a productive (and fun) semester.

i'm 36 and still not a morning person. my head is asleep. one cup of coffee and a diet coke and still asleep.

a busy and fun weekend. sunday was devoted to working, working, working. yesterday was spent poolside with a few red stripes in hand. it was fun, transnational, and sun-drenched.

and it's storming out. i have a date with my mother tomorrow. mother's day present. i fly home to my baby on monday! i need a little tlc.

watching episodes of the millionaire matchmaker. patty says: "she's a superficialist."

my summer break begins this week! one more meeting on campus and then it's off to the races! i am SO excited I could pee myself. So good to be done with this semester. so eager to see my baby--for three whole months! thank goodness.

i've cleaned my apartment. cooked. dyed my hair. am washing. my niece just called. she and my mother are stopping in.

and i'm slowly inching my way to summer break. i have plans. to take better care of myself. to relax and enjoy. to give up sugar--again. i've accomplished so much. so happy, so proud of myself. it's never easy, but sometimes it is pleasurable.
