Yes! I keep thinking, "Oh, this will be the last year", or "What about my stupid knee", or any number of things. But I think back to the 6 months a couple years ago where I "retired", and how flat our depressed I got! I lost my hobby and I lost my friends and my exercise and everything that I made me feel alive. So I keep on truckin', and I'll skate till my legs fall off :)

Hi Kate!! Like I said, I wish I could go back to school tomorrow but I don't know how long it will be before I can get there. It's a goal, though, and a serious one

So glad to hear you've got a job that you're enjoying enough to see a future in something related to it! School is so much easier when you enjoy the subject. You'll rock it...and I'm sure you'll find a way to make it work, even if it's one class at a time.

Gah...pre-teens man...I'm so glad I'm not the only one dealing with the 'tude! haha High school is gonna suuuuuck!

You don't know me, I'm sorry, I'm desperate... I found this post because I searched for "swallow things", because I've a compulsion to do this, and I can't find anyone to talk to about it. You mention it as a coping mechanism, I can relate to that. I really am sorry to just do this, but... I can't find anyone. Please, if I'm not being utterly rude and intrusive, could you maybe conact me?
