George RR Martin has just announced that Sean Bean has been signed by HBO to play Ned Stark in the pilot of A Game of Thrones.

Keith Herber, known around the traps as 'Doc Cthulhu' pass away suddenly a few hours ago.

After being a major contributor to the Call of Cthulhu setting for Chaosium he had departed from the company a few years ago.  He had just set up his own company, Miskatonic River Press, and started writing CoC stuff again after a long break ( Read more... )
