By the time Shige left the office, it was 8pm. He quickly walked to the location of the bar in the text message and found Sho sitting at the bar by himself. Shige chuckled to himself.

"All alone by your lonesome self, Sakurai-kun?" Shige asked as he sat himself down next to the business man and ordered a beer.

A couple drinks in, Sho was starting to feel much better about the day. A little more lighter, a little less worried about everything, relaxed. It was a nice feeling. He was nursing his third beer, fingers trailing up and down the sides when he heard the familiar voice above him and grinned.

“Shige-kun, here to keep me from looking pathetic all by my lonesome? I hope.” He shifted closer to the wall as the other made himself comfortable in the seat next to his.

Shige chuckled at Sho's buzzed state. "You obviously had an interesting day," he commented as he sipped his beer. "I can't believe the ashes are still here. I hate putting on a mask, it ruins my hair", Shige said, starting a conversation with his sempai and friend.

Sho nodded furiously, eyes flickering up to Shige, frowning slightly. "It was. Interesting." He contemplated telling the other about what had happened, the other was a lawyer, he'd know a bit about what Sho was having to deal with and having someone to talk to about it all. Someone that he knew that he could trust, hands down. It would probably make him feel a lot better, better than the beer which was just temporary putting everything off.

"You have no idea how tempted I was to go outside when the ash finally ended this afternoon!" Sho mumbled against the rim of his glass, chuckling at the idea. The only thing that prevented him from actually doing such was his secretary - thankfully the woman still had some sense.
