[Closed/Complete] After work drinks
Characters: Kato Shigeaki & Sakurai Sho
Setting: Random bar, 7:20PM
Content: Drinking.
Summary: Sho’s in need of a few drinks after everything and calls up Shige to come join him.
He’d spent one too many hours hunched over his coffee table the night before, reading through everything he had that could possibly give him some leads to the disappearing money. When he fell asleep, he didn’t remember, only that he’d woken up with a piece of paper stuck to his cheek and a clock that had read 7 in the morning. It wasn’t unusual for him to get a few hours less sleep on nights, so he wasn’t as tired as he could have been. He was tired, but nothing that a quick breakfast and lots of coffee throughout the day couldn’t fix.
And that was how his day started.
A day that stretched on, with complicated phone calls and decisions to make about the two men that Sho was now growing suspicious about. People he should have been able to trust.
The day could only end with some sort of way to relax. Not long after Sho had packed up his briefcase, he was off and in the bar that he’d always found himself going to when he needed a drink or two, or three. The bar was the closest to the Hotel and yet far enough away to give him some comfort of not being bothered by any of his staff who would enjoy an after-work drink.
Sho slipped his phone out of his pocket, fingers tapping out a quick message to Shige before hitting the send button, replacing the phone back into his suit jacket. The message, short, gave Shige the address of where he was and the invitation to come join him. He was going to need a few drinks after the past couple of days, regardless of a friend being with him or not - company would just make things much better. It would be a bit sad for Sho to be sitting all alone in the booth where he currently was for the rest of the night.
