This was actually inspired by the (first) Takumi-kun series movie, and that I started writing a billion years ago. But then I rewatched episode 06 of Junjou Romantica Season 1, and at the end, there was a translation of one of Nowaki's letter. He says how he snuck a picture of Hiro-san sleeping and how he looks at it every day and how it gives him support. *rolls on the floor all over the place* *LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!!!*
Inspiration to finish writing this somewhat lame 200-ish word InuKai drabble!

Plot Bunny: Kaidoh couldn't understand why Inui liked watching him sleep until...
====
Gazing at Inui asleep in their shared bed, Kaidoh wondered when was the last time that he had stayed up after the other had gone to sleep. Normally, it was him who went to bed first. On some nights, he'd wake up to see Inui still working on various notes at his desk with only the small lamp on. Inui had admitted that he would have gotten the notes finished earlier if he hadn't been distracted by Kaidoh sleeping. When Kaidoh asked him just what was so interesting about watching him sleep, Inui just smiled.
Tonight, Inui had come home from work exhausted and unable to stay up like he always did. Kaidoh needed to finish a report for tomorrow's company meeting, but he couldn't help glancing behind him every so often. Inui just looked so... different when he was asleep.
The report should have taken him about an hour or so, but it was closer to three in the morning before Kaidoh finally finished. Turning off the desk lamp, he crawled into bed next to Inui. Facing the other, Kaidoh couldn't help but smile a bit.
He now understood why Inui liked to watch him sleep so much.
