Hmm. I read Bite by Laymon and hated it, but I may have to give him another shot! Your summary made me laugh. "ALL PAGES = FUCKED UP." Good to know!

Trust me, if you read the first 2 pages you'll understand exactly what I mean - I sat there and read those pages atleast 3-5 times visualizing exactly what just happened and trying to wrap my brain around it in total shock, lol.

I've read it, but I didn't think it was any more disturbing than any of his other books. I am a HUGE Laymon fan. So far, the one that disturbed me the most was One Rainy Night...after that, Island...:)

The Dad is totally fucked up!! He was totally cut out of the 1981 version, lol.

Yep, in the 1981 version they cut out the whole plot line involving the family - they just had the one revolving around the 2 girls.
