CAMDEN IS ON FIRE!

Emails sent out. I've made some notes about the people I'm going to phone on Monday, and I'm going to sit on my email account to see if anyone emails me back - even if it is just to say sorry we don't want to hire an innexperienced secretary. Actually one of the places I've applied to is literally just around the corner from me, so I'm hoping they' ( Read more... )

Camden :*(

I just watched the same episode of CSI. With geeks. There was a lot of: "What? What? THAT'S NOT HOW THE INTERNET WORKS! With the-and-what-WHAT??"

Also: Worst, hitman, ever. Really freakin' conspicuous, even without the hair/etc. Y HALO THAR security cameras in nearby everywhere.
There have been a lot of second-life themed programs recently.

It made me think that CSI:World of Warcraft would be hilarious.

I was sitting here having a complete geek fit because of the episode. I loved Adam, although I was wondering about how they were tracking the people. Must be said that the five minutes use that I had of Second Life seemed... completely as they showed it in the episode.

To be honest, the hitman isn't as bad as she could be. Wandering around looking like that is conspicuous, but nobody is necessarily going to remember helpful facts, they're more likely to remember her legs, or her hair colour than, oh wait she looked exactly like [insert good description here].

I'm not a WOW player, but I can imagine that it might be in-ter-esting

I think it's a patriarch thing. They have to be right, and it makes them insecure when the younglings know way more about this new-fangled technology than they do...

Well it's annoying me. His big thing that he always drags out when we're arguing over something stupid is "You can't let yourself be wrong" which is exactly why we are usually rowing - because we both think we're right.

Oh, and he's in next door at the moment arguing with Barclaycard's telephone banking people about paying his barclaycard via the website. All the times that I have paid it online (like once a month for about two years now) and I never had a problem. He tried to do it twice and well... he's now having problems. And he's blaming them. He wouldn't let me have a go, because I'd mess it up.

*breathes* I'm being silly. I should just let him rant, after all it's better he's ranting at them than at me!
