Today I have, made an apple pie and run the dishwasher. Oh, and washed my hair. I orginally intended to do some hoovering so I didn't feel so guilty about heading out to London tomorrow. However that didn't happen because an extreme lack of sleep last night meant I had no inclination to do anything, let alone push a heavy hoover around.
(
So, Spooks: Series 5, Episode 2, eh? )

I hope you get to see Monday's episode - and then come back and read my review - I think it's very insightful...

I noticed the fighting, too - while I thought the fights were nicely choreographed, I didn't like the sound effects in the airport scene. I thought they were too exaggerated and thus distracting.
I saw lots of parallels to pre-Nazi Germany - the desire to have a strong leader, constitutional loopholes allowing executive orders to get through and of course the line about the monster you create that might be hard to get rid of later.
I must confess that the first episode didn't really grip me as much as I would have expected, but then the second ep changed that and really got my interest up again.
