We get foxes in our garden, and while we don't have cats, I've heard fox/cat fights before (very yowel-y). I'd say keep the cats indoors during the night if you can, because vixens can go nuts if something threatens their cubs. If they're really a problem, then try the RSPCA or similar for advice.

Oh, and don't leave shoes or anything you don't want played wiht by baby foxes outside at night :P I lost a pair of flip-flops that way!

*giggles* Keep the cats indoors at night?! Fabulous suggestion, if it weren't for our cats! Last summer - when Sweep got her stitches - we had to keep her in so she woudn't rip any of them, and that meant that they were both kept in, so as not to be overly cruel to Sweepy. They spent the whole of the four days they were locked in throwing themselves at the cat flap. I'd rather not have that again. *sigh* Hence my dilemma.

So, good suggestion, bad cats!
