Belated trip post

Well I've been back from Canada for almost a month now and the fishing trip was nice but a bit tiring. I've kind of neglected writing about this since it isn't a terribly exciting or interesting story. It was just a typical fishing trip with a stop over in Minneapolis to visit my aunt and cousin. I'm a inveterate fisherman myself and I miss living in the south just for this reason.I used to catch big ol catfishes,carps,gars,grennels,drums and anything that gives you a good fight.
Here there ain't shit.I go to the pier in Malibu once in a while but it's way over fished.Sometimes you can see a guy pulling a shark or a hallibut of decent size,but it's rare.When I go to the mountain i always catch some trouts but so small that i put them back.

Northern Illinois isn't that great for fishing, Lake Michigan is filthy and you have to rent (or own) a boat to do some good fishing on it. Some of the lakes I used to fish at around here are plastered with no trespassing signs these days.

I usually just catch some small bullheads and black bass around here.
