The second he saw her on the crystal, he'd come running. It wasn't the fact that it was Light (though that was a big thing in and of itself), it wasn't the fact that someone he knew had arrived- it was the look on her face that sent him bolting for her.

Lightning didn't have those kind of faces, she didn't look horrified or terrified unless something really bad happened. Something she had no control over. And seeing her like that was something he wanted to be there for her, to help.

So off he went, past the fields of the Lunar Subterrane, back home to where he had first woken up- the Order's Sanctuary. He ran across the white field, looking for her, yelling her name and trying to see where she was.

"Light? Light, where are you!"

Hope. She wasn't about to forget that voice. Gritting her teeth, she forced herself to regain some sort of composure before he arrived and saw her like that. Sure enough, her breathing slowed to normal, and some of the tension in her body noticeably relaxed. So by the time she heard footsteps, she wasn't at 100% for sure, but she wasn't in a state that would worry the kid too much anymore. (Little did she know he was already worried.)

"Hope," she called, but not too loudly. She didn't know who else was around, and more importantly, who they were allied with.

It didn't take too long, though, before she spotted him."Hope!" Standing, she jogged toward him, and upon arrival she pulled him roughly into a very relieved hug. "You're not a Cie'th..." Her words were soft and just as relieved as the hug. Said hug didn't last long, though, because then she released him and instead took him by the shoulders so she could look in his eyes while she spoke to him.

"Where are we?"

"Light!" The embrace was welcomed, and he shook his head as soon as he had a chance to. "No, I'm not. We've still got time." His brand was still there on his left hand, but he sighed upon seeing she was okay.

"We're... not on Cocoon, or Gran Pulse. We've been pulled into some war between two gods, Cosmos and Chaos. I don't really know much else. But there's some people who do, because they've done this before."

The look on his face was one that was a mixture of confusion and worry, combined with concern, too. What was this about being a Cie'th? And why did Light look so scared earlier? It didn't make sense to him.

We've still got time. "Then how...?" The question seemed more directed at herself than at him. As much credit as she gave hope for... pretty much everything, this wasn't exactly something she expected him to be able to figure out.

"'Done this before'? How do we know they aren't responsible?" Her voice was sharper now, more commanding, though not so much as it would be if she were addressing a stranger. But she saw the look in his eyes, and that kept the rest of her questions in check. She wasn't about to worry him even more than he already was.

[huff, huff, maybe he should have asked her where she was. but, then again, when did he ever have a plan, right? after running around for almost fifteen minutes, he luckily found her characteristic bright hair color and ran to her.]

Light! [he called as he jogged closer. save formalities, he slightly knelt so that he could look her eye to eye.] You okay? You're not badly hurt, right?

[She looks up at him with her brow furrowed, like she's still trying to process the situation.] You're not a Cie'th.

They just kept coming. Was there no end to the amount of people that the "gods" were bringing in. Perhaps that was why there hadn't been any major conflicts as of yet, people were still coming in. Trunks wasn't really sure if that bothered him or not...the lack of conflict that is. On one hand the less conflict, the less people got hurt. On the other, his saiyan blood boiled within him just knowing there was a chance for him to fight, and to fight someone strong. It was really hard to deny those urges, and it made being here a bit unsettling.

He'd have to get over that however, at least for the moment. Oddly enough, it wasn't the distressed look about Lightning that called his attention, or the possibility that she was potentially very strong. It was her hair. He could relate to that color. His attention adverted though when he approached her and did notice that she was indeed looking a bit distressed.

"Uh, hey. Are you alright?"

Her hair. That was quite an odd thing to be drawn to, especially with the owner of said hair in the state she was in. Luckily, Lightning was not a mind reader, so she had no idea what was going through his head.

All she knew was, there was suddenly a stranger approaching her and asking her personal questions. She glanced up at him, looking not-quite-judgmental, then shook her head and stood up. In a second or so, she'd forced composure (one of her stronger suits) and stood up steadily.

"I'm fine."

Trunks cocked his head to the side for a moment at her response. That was one of those not so fine "I'm fine" responses. It wasn't his business to pry so he wasn't.

"Thirsty?" he asked, reaching into his pocket to pull out a small capsule. He pressed the top of the cap and it enlarged to a bottle. "IT's bottled water." He held it out towards her.

Lightning eyed the bottle a second, then accepted it. She brought it up to her lips (inconspicuously sniffing for poison or something of that sort) and took a drink. Her throat had been... much drier than she'd realized, but she didn't chug the bottle, tempting as that was. Instead, she offered it back.

"Thanks."
