[It's just as well it's audio only, because the grin Vanitas is now wearing at hearing Ven is just as disturbing as his laugh.]

Well for one thing...that darkness in Terra's heart. Figured he must've given in to it by now. And then there's your third useless friend. Aqua. Stronger than I thought she'd be, but still so weak. I think she'd be a little angry at Terra for all he's done in the worlds.

[Suddenly he holds the crystal closer, as if trying to freak Ven out even if they can't see each other.]

They haven't figured you out yet, have they?

[Terra has only a small idea of what Vanitas' voice is like, but Ven's reaction is more than enough to tell him who it is. His anger spikes all too quickly, and he grips his communicator so hard it would break, if it wasn't made of crystal. For all he knows, Aqua could be dead because of Vanitas.]

Terra. How nice for you to join the party. Still trying to resist the darkness? I heard your Master wasn't pleased to find out what you've been up to, after all.

[Mention of the Master only angers his further. It's all he can do not to hurl the crystal into a wall -- not that it'd do anything to hurt Vanitas.]

[Kairi likes to believe in everyone. But there's something from just his voice that seems to make her want to take a step backwards, even though he can't see her, and she can't see him. And that laugh? There's more than enough reason to run.]

I'm going to forge the X-Blade. Then I shall use it to open the door to Kingdom Hearts, of course. All I need is a heart of pure light to help me.
