Now they have to question if each enemy they're attacking is really an ally in disguise, or if each ally they trust to fight alongside them will see an old friend and turn on them.
And in the moment where one of ours wonders if this Chaos warrior's on our side or theirs, they could wind up with a sword through their stomach.

Kain...he was recruited by Chaos and is a very conflicted person. He told me himself that I should not trust him too much. I think he fears continued betrayal on his part. I...I don't think he's a bad person at heart, deep down, but given our situation, there's only so much that we can share. I hope he does find redemption, and I've been trying to help him, but...unless Cosmos chooses him herself, I don't know what else we can do.

I don't want to harm Cloud or Kain. Cloud is my friend, too and Kain...I don't want to think of him as an enemy. If it can at all be helped, I would avoid them both.
