Yes. He took interest defeating Kefka, so I assumed that we were allies. After all, the enemy of my enemy is a friend...

Maybe I should have explained about him, but there were other people who too priority.

Kain...he was recruited by Chaos and is a very conflicted person. He told me himself that I should not trust him too much. I think he fears continued betrayal on his part. I...I don't think he's a bad person at heart, deep down, but given our situation, there's only so much that we can share. I hope he does find redemption, and I've been trying to help him, but...unless Cosmos chooses him herself, I don't know what else we can do.
