I do want to say though while I still don't like Taylor Swift, I kinda feel bad for her. I feel like Kanye's the best thing that happened to her and that kinda sucks.

I'm sure I've seen people suggest her as Aurora :| Yeah the hair could probably be similar but I feel like it seems to be all about hair when people pick out RL people. I nearly typed actress their but from what I hear Ms Swift aint the best :p

yeah, they still are "sisters" to me - in that whole sisters from another mother kinda way, but yeah, I can't ship them either, for the same reason.

♥ I agree. I think most people who hate on most of the princesses are going based on what distorted spiels of the movies tell them and/or vague recollection as opposed to recent viewings of the film. Snow White is a beautiful character and doesn't deserve the amount of hate she gets. She wasn't mopey at all. She was a bit too naive for her own good (with the hag), but she wasn't just waiting for her prince to come. She couldn't help it she needed true love's kiss to bring her back to life! That's not her fault anymore than its Aurora's fault that she was cursed and dependent on Phillip.

My Literature Through Film teacher when on a whole spiel about how anti-feminist a person Belle is and all of her facts were flawed and some were just completely made up. She went on about how Belle just accepted the Beast and how she could change him! And when he got mad and broke all the dishes at dinner she just cleaned them up because being nice will change him into a prince!

I almost screamed.

UGH! This is why I just can't even fathom myself doing well in a similar class. I defend all of the princesses much too staunchly to put up with that pretentious attitude that there is against the "anti-feminism" of the princesses.

But, WOW. All of those facts are just...I want to scream now! Did she even watch the same movie/read the same fairytale that you and I did? Because I'm getting the idea that she didn't. It's so sad that it seems like its her sort of notions that so many base their hateful arguments against the princesses on :/
