That's a pet peeve of mine as well her favorite story is a fairy tale but who can honestly say their favorite book is something not made for entertainment? In the Christmas movie she days she'll read the Beast stories that seem to be fairy tales but again, it's for entertainment purposes.

Also feminism is really more of a choice, right? The choice to go out and work or the choice to marry and be domestic. She married for love, on her own terms instead of the guy everyone expected her to marry. Also, being a princess she'll probably have lots more at her disposal, whether she wants to help people or travel. All of the princesses marry, so I don't see how she's any different or how she accomplishes less. The point of all the stories is to overcome whatever obstacles are in your way.

I'm not trying to be mean and I do get what you're saying. One of the best parts of these movies is that they're open for interpretation. :)

Agreed. I was being hopeful about Tangled all throughout the wank, and now that it's out, everyone's praising it and I'm sick of all the hype.
