If you or anyone wrote this, I would read it. No lie. I loved the film and the characters could have definitely done well for a sequel. It's funny you mention PotC, because when I had to read the book in school, it was after both this film and CotBP came out, so whenever I was trying to imagine the characters in my head, I kept getting the SAME EXACT PICTURE! Silver always kept going back and forth between Jack Sparrow and the Silver we see in Treasure Planet. Same with Jim going back and forth. Anyways, I absolutely love your plot idea!!

I wrote a very similar secret on FandomSecrets but you came up with a few examples I missed! I had forgotten Robin Hood and Peter Pan, though you've forgotten Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

http://fandomsecrets.livejournal.com/623232.html Secret #8 if you're curious

In other words I UNDERSTAND THIS SECRET VERY VERY WELL <3

Heh, I think even at an early age, there was always something kinda kinky about the bit with Maleficent and Philip being all tied up :p

While I don't see how the Renaissance movies are formulaic (I'll give you Tangled, but the ones during the 90's all had something new to offer imo), I do agree that the older Disney movies should get more credit. They weren't all amazing, but there were some pretty good ones that get forgotten or hated more often than not.

Tangled isn't a renaissance movie.
I don't think they're formulaic but I wish other movies (A goofy movie, Treasure planet, the Emperor's new groove, Atlantis, Dumbo to name a few) would get some love too.

Tangled isn't a renaissance movie.

My intention was to say that I'm tired of people who call themselves huge Disney fans and have only seen or care about the Renaissance movies plus Tangled. That's why I put Tangled there. And you have to admit Tangled (as well as Princess and the Frog) was very much made in the style of the Renaissance movies.

I did enjoy Epic Mickey while I was playing it (interesting take on familiar characters, detailed worlds, fun gameplay), but I ended up giving up on the game because the camera is AWFUL! I spent more time trying to get the camera to point where I wanted it than actually playing the game. No, I don't want to look at the wall right now, I want to look at the tiny floating platform I have to jump to in order to advance through this level! And trying to aim the Wii-mote at bad guys when the camera decides it would rather look at the pretty scenery than THE GIANT SCARY VILLAIN CHARGING RIGHT AT ME was driving me up the wall. It was either turn the game off and walk away or throw it out the window. Which is a shame because, like I said, it's an enjoyable game.

I'm really starting to hate the Wii and this game is one of the reasons :(

Agreeing with the above. I thought it was a cute game with an interesting story. The problem is I started to get increasingly stuck because of the dark lighting (which made it so I couldn't see anything), the lack of health-replenishing items, no checkpoint system in levels, and the bad camera. I can take bad gameplay to an extent, but this game was just frustrating and unbeatable for me.
