Hello all!
I decided to create this icon challenge community after realizing that practically all the Disney icon communities I'm a part of are on an indefinite hiatus. I enjoy creating icons, but I usually need themes to help spur my creativity along, and a deadline to increase my motivation. As of right now, I have extra time on my hands to maintain a community, but if there was ever a time I couldn't, I will appoint a sub-mod if possible. I have no plans of leaving livejournal at this time.
I invited people who I thought would be interested in participating. By no means does this mean you have to accept my invitation. I was just trying to jump-start my community with recently-active Disney icon makers. If you know people who would be interested in joining, please send them here!
This is a basic 20 in 20 community. Each round, participants will create 20 icons over a span of 20 days. Each participant will claim a Disney movie or individual character. Claims may only be made once, and participants cannot make the same claim twice in a row.
If anyone has issues with me (the mod) participating, please let me know. Really all I'm doing is posting themes and polls; it's all up to the voting. I enjoy creating icons just for the fun :)
