So it turns out that I'm an idiot. I didn't read the requirements for American visa photos properly, assuming that regular British passport ones would do. But America likes to make everything complicated, and they have to be 2 x 2 inches, which means finding some machine/ photographer that will actually do that. What's really frustrating is that

If I remember correctly, they take your visa out your passport when you leave the US. Thank God. I looked like I had just murdered someone in a road rage incident in mine. God knows how I got into the country....

Oh good. Mine makes me look quite confused/ gormless, it's quite possible they'll reject me because they think I'm way too slow to work over there, or just taking the piss :P Ah well, guess passport photos aren't supposed to be attractive!
